Derek is an entrepreneur passionate about growing businesses through streamlined internal processes & online marketing. Aside from his work with his own businesses, Derek has previously worked as an advisor for Small Business BC, helping small businesses implement comprehensive strategies to grow their online sales.

In tennis, Derek has competed at the high school and university level, winning the OFSAA silver medal in doubles in 2014.

Derek is returning for his third year as the CEO & Co-Owner of Precision Tennis, leveraging his passion for improving access to high quality private coaching!

Nick founded Precision Tennis in 2011 with a vision to make tennis lessons for beginners and intermediates of all ages more convenient in the Lower Mainland.

Up until 2022, Nick was the Chief Executive Officer of Precision Tennis. As of 2025, Nick is in charge of all tech and website-related infrastructure for Precision Tennis, and he advises the CEO and Head Coaches as well.

Nick is passionate about the competitive, tactical, and psychological aspects of tennis, and he enjoys playing Open level tournaments. Nick also greatly enjoys his job as a web developer for a "Conversion Rate Optimization" digital marketing agency in Vancouver, BC.

Returning as Head Coach in 2025, Josh is a highly seasoned Club Professional 1-certified coach with experience teaching all ages & abilities at Precision Tennis & UBC Tennis Center.

With a background in kinesiology, he brings a deep understanding of movement and biomechanics to every lesson, helping players improve efficiently and effectively. He is dedicated to helping his students improve their skills while fostering a lifelong love of tennis.

Isaac has 8 years of coaching experience with people of all ages. He is an efficient and engaging tennis coach with the ability to break things down

From helping adults learn the basics, to coaching high-performance juniors develop their skills for tournament play, Isaac has gained a lot of knowledge in the sport of tennis and is eager to share it.

In 2025 Isaac is taking on the role of Events Planner, leveraging his passion for providing accessible low-cost tennis programs for Vancouver youth & adults.

Matin discovered his passion for tennis at the age of 10. For Matin, both playing and coaching tennis have been pivotal in meeting people from around the globe, making tennis the most enduring facet of his life.

With more than 20 years of coaching experience, he has earned accolades such as the Community Coach of the Year award from Tennis BC, and recognition as a Community Champion from Tennis Canada.

Originally from Bulgaria, Lyubomir ('Lyubo') has been playing tennis since he was 7 years old, competing on a national level in Bulgaria. As a coach, Lyubo brings infectious positivity and focused technical expertise to every lesson.

Returning for his third season with Precision Tennis, Lyubo is excited to share his experience, passion and love for tennis with students of all levels.

Originally from Poland, Andrzej has been a high-level tennis coach since 2003, including 14 years at Burnaby Tennis Club. He has helped countless players elevate their game, from beginners to some of Vancouver’s top competitors.

Andrzej brings a friendly, down-to-earth demeanour and 40+ years of playing experience to every session. His passion for the sport inspires players of all levels to grow their skills while fostering a lifelong love for tennis.

Originally from Iran, Saeid brings 20 years of playing experience and 6 years of coaching expertise to every session. Beyond tennis, Saeid is an avid skier and has worked in finance and taxes for over a decade.

With a passion for developing beginner and intermediate players of all ages, Saeid aims to inspire and nurture a lifelong passion for tennis in all of his students.

Cesar is a former top junior player from Mexico and friendly, knowledgeable coach. When he is not teaching, Cesar can be found competing in local tournaments around the Lower Mainland.

Returning for his second season with Precision Tennis, Cesar is leager to continue helping players of all levels unlock their true potential on the court.

Mark is a high-level competitive player with over 20 years of coaching experience. His background in philosophy, dance, martial arts, and meditation shapes his holistic approach, creating a well-rounded and engaging learning experience for every player.

Known for his friendly and inviting presence on the court, Mark is passionate about helping players of all levels build confidence, develop consistency, and find joy in the game. His coaching goes beyond technique—he nurtures a lifelong love for tennis, empowering students to grow both as athletes and individuals.

Ali started playing tennis at age 8 and went on to compete professionally in his home country of Libya. He credits the sport for shaping his appreciation for competition, sportsmanship, and honor.

Now in his third season as a Precision Tennis coach, Ali enjoys working with players of all levels, helping them develop their skills while fostering a lifelong love for the game.

Beyond tennis, Ali is also a successful actor, TV host, and producer, bringing energy and charisma to every on-court session.

Originally from Ukraine, Max is a friendly, down-to-earth coach with experience coaching players of all levels at Victoria Tennis Club in Donetsk.

He is also a 4.5 level player and regularly competes in local tournaments, One of my Max's recent students even reached the MS 3.0 Stanley Park final in 2023!
