Precision Tennis Class Updates

Due to unsafe playing conditions (wet courts), the 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM group classes at Slocan Park and Queen Elizabeth Park on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 are now cancelled.

Due to unsafe playing conditions (wet courts), the 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM group classes at Slocan Park and Queen Elizabeth Park on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 are now cancelled.

For 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM classes, we will issue an update at 9:00 AM.

As long as the rain holds off, we will proceed with tennis classes today at Slocan Park and Queen Elizabeth Park from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

We will closely monitor the court conditions and update this page again if there are any changes.

Our first priority is everyone’s safety. If at any time the conditions are deemed unsafe for play, today’s class on Saturday 14th, 2024 will be canceled and refunded at the end of the session.

Based on the forecast, there is a chance of rain tomorrow on Saturday, September 14th, which may impact the tennis classes at Queen Elizabeth Park and Slocan Park scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Updates will be issued here by 7:00 AM tomorrow on September 14th, 2024 regarding whether classes will be going ahead. As the forecast may change, this gives classes the best possible chance of occurring.

For now, please assume that classes are going ahead as scheduled.

Little Learners Level 1 – 4:30PM

Rally Stars Level 1 – 5:30PM

Adult Beginner Level 1 – 6:30PM

Adult Intermediate Level 1 – 7:30PM

A refund for any rained out classes will be issued to your original payment method by West Point Grey Community Center 1-2 weeks after the end of the current session.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of our classes this session. We will be running indoor classes this year for children and adult beginners at West Point Grey Community Center, with the goal of offering even more classes starting in January.

A refund for todays class will be issued to your original payment method by the City of Vancouver 1-2 weeks after the end of the current session.

A final decision will be issued here at 7:00am on August 24 regarding whether classes will be going ahead.

As of now, all classes are going ahead. We will closely monitor the weather conditions throughout the day and update this webpage if anything changes.
